An Idyllic manor in Chipping Campden

Charingworth Manor, situated in Chipping Campden was inevitably beautiful after gawping over the images before our visit. There was the perfect balance between relaxation and luxury, with nothing being too much trouble. The Manor holds a rosette restaurant within the walls of the iconic Cotswold stone. A must visit for someone who appreciates fine food and values the natural beauty of the Cotswolds. There is much to be enticed by at Charingworth Manor.

As a treat, I and my partner opted for the champagne afternoon tea which was very scrumptious indeed.

Take a peek at the menu here: Champagne afternoon teaThere are three tiers of afternoon tea available too!

Unlimited tea, as well as fresh strawberries and chocolate sauce, was a no-brainer and a very much appreciated extra on top of all the homemade goodies. The highlight for me was the carrot cake and fruit scones. Mmm.

Nothing tops a glass of champagne in the sun relaxing on the outside terrace. The ambience was peaceful, romantic and private. I was instantly won over by the surroundings, that consisted of miles and miles of greenery.

If you're after a revitalising treat or perhaps a mini get-away, check out their lavish garden hot tub rooms here.

Charingworth Manor is a must visit, and a place I will be returning to very soon.

Where's your favourite place for a romantic afternoon or a spot of food?
