The Glass House Atlow Review

The Hosts

Janette and Steve are the wonderful owners of the Glass House in Atlow near the Peak District. Their love of property development and interior design shines through every inch of the house. Both are extremely accommodating, showing us around and even commenting on a couple of blog posts I've created! How wonderful. Breakfast time in the morning is flexible time wise leaving plenty of time to lounge in bed. We can't fault either of our stays, made even better by Janette and Steve's warm welcoming!

The Room

The room comprises elegance, style, and practicality. There's plenty of room to get ready, with a dressing table alongside a light up mirror in the bathroom. The view alone tops the lot with fields for miles and sweet cows bumbling along in the mornings. Detail is implemented with textured cushions and reflective statement mirrors.
Around £79...For one night you'll receive:

A luxurious bedroom with heavenly bedding and comfort.
Your own kitchen to make little nibbles and cups of tea.
Two bathrooms.
The best home-made breakfast you could ask for!
A view to die for.

The Food

Once you have awoken, downstairs delivers the most scrumptious breakfast ready for a day exploring.

Breakfast contains:

  • Fresh coffee, tea, water with lemon and fruit juice.
  • A multitude of baked bread.
  • Granola and a variety of cereal.
  • Fruit salad.
  • Yoghurt.
  • Antipasti style cheeses and meats.
  • Croissants.
  • Home-made fruit muffins (the best)
  • Boiled eggs.
A breakfast fit for a king and served to just the two of us!
